Since 2011, Barktown has been caring for your beloved pets, providing them with a home away from home to give you peace of mind while you are away. You can rest assured that your pet will receive all the best full service accommodations while staying with us!
The friendly, knowledgeable staff and custom facility at Barktown provides your pet with excellent care while you travel, giving you peace of mind. We currently offer boarding at our Killen, AL location, with our new facility Sheffield Barktown!
Have your dog stay with us
Each guest will be fully equipped in their own private pet suite. Our suites include beds, blankets, toys, water and food bowls. All you need to provide is your pet’s own food and any required medications, if needed, to ensure a consistent diet and healthy, enjoyable stay.
Barktown welcomes dogs of all ages with records that your pet is current on the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- Distemper/Parvo
NIGHTLY RATES: $35 per dog
$20 per additional sibling when sharing a suite
Cats are welcomed
Unlike many of our competitors, Barktown provides boarding service for cats too! Barktown has a dedicated cat room with spacious and airy cat towers. Each cat tower will be fully equipped with beds, water and food bowls, and a litter box. All you need to provide is your pet’s own food and any required medications, if needed, to ensure a consistent diet and healthy, enjoyable stay.
Barktown welcomes cats of all ages with records that your pet is current on the following vaccinations:
- Feline Rabies
- Feline Leukemia
NIGHTLY RATES: $25 per cat
$15 per additional sibling when sharing a tower

Instructions
To give our staff time to clean your dog’s room for the next guest, your dog MUST be picked up during our scheduled pick-up times. If you are unable to return for pick-up by the scheduled time, you will be required to reserve the following night to hold your dog’s room open for the evening.

On days that Daycare is available, dogs that have passed the Daycare Temperament Test & completed at least TWO FULL DAYS of daycare will have the option to add a Daycare reservation in lieu of reserving a room for the previous or following night.

In order to guarantee your pet’s room is vacant and clean at the time of your arrival, we must ask that you abide by the drop-off times listed below. If these times do not work for you, you will be required to reserve the previous night in order to hold the room open for your pet’s arrival.
